James Birch FCA:
Having trained and qualified with Chantrey Vellacott, James joined Dickinsons in 1988 becoming a partner in 1990. Now senior partner, James advises a wide range of owner-managed businesses on strategic, accounting and taxation matters.
Also a member of the Tax, Finance and Management and Audit faculties of the Institute, James specialises in business acquisitions and disposals, including fund raising and due diligence.
Natalie Spalton ACA AAT:
Natalie joined Dickinsons in 1994 as an audit student. She obtained the ACA qualification in 2000 and was promoted from Senior Manager to Partner in 2006.
Natalie specialises in advising owner managed businesses and corporate finance

Phil Abbott FCA CTA:
Phil trained with Hillier Hopkins qualifying as ACA in 1987 (multiple prize winner) and BDO Binder Hamlyn qualifying as a CTA in 1990 (the Stanley Spofforth medal for first place). Phil joined Dickinsons in 1998 becoming a partner in 2001, specialising in personal and corporate tax.
Peter Tucker FCA CTA TEP:
Peter qualified as a chartered accountant in 1980 with Ernst & Young and has specialised in tax ever since.
Also a member of the Tax Faculty of the Institute, a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Peter advises on both UK and international tax matters.
Peter is actively involved with the Tax Faculty of the Institute as a member of the SME and Personal Tax and Finance Committees; duties include responding to consultative documents as well as attending meetings at HM Treasury from time to time.
In addition, Peter is involved in local district affairs of the Institute as a member of both the Tax Committee and the Conferences Committee. He currently holds the office of Immediate Past President.
Huw Davies FCCA:
Huw qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1977. He formed his own practice in Rickmansworth with Paul Bayes. Huw became a partner in Dickinsons following their merger with Purcell Davies and Bayes.
Paul Bayes FCA:
Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973 with a small practice in Sunderland. He gained experience with international firms before settling for a life in general practice in 1983 in Harrow and latterly with Huw Davies in Rickmansworth. Paul became a partner in Dickinsons following their merger with Purcell Davies and Bayes.
